ABOUT US

The Far North Community Foodbank was registered as an Incorporated Society on 9 August 2000 and was registered as a Charity on 27 June 2008.

In mid 2000 The Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church saw a need in our community and established the Far North Community Foodbank Trust.

The Trust has now grown to include 7 local organisations forming the Trust Committee.

The Trust meet monthly to oversee the Far North Community Foodbank and ensure the best possible outcome for the community.

The Foodbank is Managed by Christie Meyer and is supported by fantastic local Volunteers who are passionate about giving back to the community they love.

To provide a quality food parcel for those families or individuals desperately in need within the Far North Community.
