Far North Community Foodbank Trust
About Us
We have been serving the Community of the Far North for 24 years including through Lockdowns, the Pandemic, weather events and now, the cost-of-living crisis. No one should be stressing about a lack of food at a time like this. We are here for you no matter who you are.
The purpose of the Foodbank is to supply emergency food and household items to vulnerable individuals and families within the Far North Region.

Our Community Foodbank is part of a network that brings support to the social services of the Far North Community.

A key role in bringing help and hope to people in need.

In our year July 2023-June 2024 we provided 1,462 parcels to those in need of food assistance feeding 1,936 adults and 2,198 children (total 4,134 fed) and each parcel contained enough food for that household for 5-7 days with breakfast, lunch, dinner, even some snacks and we add anything else we can lay our hands on e.g. dishwash liquid, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, nappies, baby formula, feminine products, toothpaste, laundry powder, pet food, etc.
